Once helmets became compulsory, every home had a stack by the door: dad's, mum's, and a little kids' one printed with animals.

Coming home from extra classes in mum's helmet because yours was left at school, so big you had to hold it on with one hand. And everyone has been pinched by that clicking buckle at least once.
