How to play: Block stacker
The green-screen handheld sold at the school gate, played until the two AA batteries died.
Pieces fall; rotate and slide them into the gaps. The right panel previews the next five; every seven pieces contain all seven shapes.
Fill a whole row and it clears and scores; clearing four at once (a Tetris) scores the most.
Rotate the T piece into a tight slot (three corners blocked) for a T-spin, worth a lot. Clearing on consecutive pieces builds a combo; back-to-back Tetrises or T-spins score ×1.5; clearing the whole board earns a big bonus.
Every ten rows you go up a level and the pieces fall faster. Pick a higher “Start level” for a faster start; points scale with the level.
The faint shadow shows where the piece will land. Park a piece you don't want yet in the Hold box (once per piece).
Stack to the ceiling and the game is over.
