Autograph book

At the end of the school year the autograph book travelled around the room. One page each: name, birthday, favourite food, favourite singer, “what I want to be”, and a few lines begging not to be forgotten.

Some pages had ID photos stuck in, some a pressed flame tree petal, some glittery gel-pen writing. Reading those old dreams twenty years later is both hilarious and heart-melting.
