Typing race

The school computer room, ten-finger typing drills, and contests over who could type faster.

1. Type each word of the passage exactly, then press space. In races a wrong word turns red and must be fixed before you can go on.
2. Speed is WPM: correctly typed characters divided by 5, per minute. Accuracy is the share of keystrokes that were correct.
3. Scored practice: score = speed × accuracy × 10, with an S / A / B / C / D rank. Personal bests only count runs of 10 s or more at 85% accuracy or better.
4. Vietnamese: use your own input method (Unikey etc.) or switch on the built-in Telex / VNI. Both tone placements (hòa and hoà) count as correct.
5. Online races: up to 6 racers per round; public rooms start by themselves once two or more people are in.

Type on your keyboard (on phones, the on-screen keyboard). Press Esc to restart the current run.
