Type or paste a list of names and spin the wheel: the flapper clicks past every slice and confetti bursts on the winner. Or draw slips from a porcelain bowl, shuffle an order, split teams by count or by size, roll dice, flip a coin, or draw lucky numbers for the year-end party. Randomness comes from the browser's cryptographic generator, so it's genuinely fair.
The list is only remembered on your device and never sent anywhere. Send the result to the group with one button; the wheel and the number machine can go full screen on a big display.
How to use it
- Type or paste the list, one name per line (a column pasted from Excel works too).
- Choose a game: wheel, bowl, teams, dice or numbers.
- Turn on Don't pick the same person twice for several rounds.
- Press Send the result for the group chat, or Present when spinning in front of the class.
Why it's handy
- A wheel of names that can drop each winner
- Even teams by number of teams or people per team
- Lucky number draws that never repeat a winner
- Dice, a coin and a presenting order
Questions
- Is it really random?
- Yes. Numbers come from the browser's crypto.getRandomValues, with no bias towards anyone. The wheel picks the winner first, then spins to that slice.
- Are the teams even?
- Everyone is shuffled, then dealt into teams in turn, so teams differ by one person at most, whether you split by count or by size.
- Is the list saved?
- Yes, but only in the browser on your device, so it is still there next time. It is never sent anywhere; clear the box and it is forgotten.
- Can I run a prize draw with it?
- Yes: set the range of ticket numbers and how many per round; with No repeats on, later rounds never draw an earlier winner, like third, second, then first prize. Press Present for the big screen.
