The Photo studio puts every common photo job in one place: shrink below a size you choose (an ID photo under 200 KB for a form), crop to a ratio, rotate and flip, resize, convert, and view or strip metadata.
Your photos never leave your device: everything runs in the browser, fast and private, iPhone HEIC included.
How to use it
- Drop one or many photos on the light table, or paste with Ctrl+V.
- Pick a tab: Crop, Size, Export (format, quality, shrink below a size).
- Drag the before / after line to compare; the new file size shows at once.
- Press Develop & download; several photos come as one .zip file.
Why it's handy
- Shrink below 100 KB, 200 KB, 500 KB, 1 MB…: finds the best quality that still fits
- Square for avatars, 4:5, 16:9, 9:16 for stories, or free
- Turn the print over to see camera, time and GPS; downloads are always clean
- Batch up to 50 photos and get one .zip
- ID photos at 3×4 and 4×6 cm, laid out on a 10×15 sheet for printing; drag the divider to compare before and after
Questions
- Are my photos sent to a server?
- No. They are processed in your browser on your device; The Attic never receives a single one.
- How do I get a photo under 200 KB for a form?
- Open Export, turn on Shrink below and pick 200 KB. The studio finds the highest quality that fits and scales down if it has to.
- How do I remove GPS from a photo?
- Every photo downloaded from the studio is redrawn, so it carries no metadata: no location, camera or time. The Back tab shows what the original carries.
- Can it open iPhone HEIC photos?
- Yes, in Chrome, Edge and Firefox too; the first one takes a moment while the decoder loads.
