Each deck is a ring of index cards like the ones from school: a word on the front, its meaning on the back. Flip to study; cards you know move up a box and come back later, cards you miss come back right away.
For a real check, take the 15-minute quiz: type the answers (missing accents still count, with a nudge; any one of several meanings is fine) or pick from four choices, then get a mark out of 10 with a teacher's remark and redo the ones you missed.
Without an account, cards stay on this device; signed in, they live in your encrypted vault and follow you to other devices.

Questions
- What is the Leitner schedule?
- Each time you know a card it moves up a box and comes back later (1, 3, 7, 14, 30 days); miss it and it returns to the first box.
- Can I import from Quizlet or Excel?
- Yes: paste the whole list, one card per line, front and back separated by a tab, | or =.
- Where are the cards stored?
- On this device without an account; signed in, in your encrypted vault, which even The Attic can't read.
- How does it work with the tomato timer?
- On each break between two tomatoes, the timer offers to review the cards that are due today.
